The only constant is change. And change is at the core of evolution, the evolution that we are going through to achieve a green renewal. To achieve the green renewal we aim for, we know that adaptability and forward-thinking are not nice-to-haves, but essential to help our vision come to life. Sustainability is not just a goal; it is an ongoing journey—a commitment to improvement and innovation. With this in mind, we are proud to introduce our new brand identity to you. We are aware that branding can sometimes seem very forced, or superficial, that is why we want to show you the details of our creative process, and how it aims to reflect our philosophy and reaffirm our commitment to both our values and a brighter future.

 

The winds of change driving us forward – our logo

 

Our refreshed logo, sleek and modern, symbolizes our steadfast commitment to sustainability. Its design conveys motion, embodying the dynamic momentum that drives businesses like ours to innovate and adapt. The logo icon itself is built from repeated “M” shapes, and forms a star—symbolising excellence—while also resembling a windmill, reinforcing their green values. The cut-out letterforms in the logotype suggest innovation and progress. This evolution is also reflected in our new colour palette—a more modern, cleaner aesthetic that signifies a more mature perspective on the world. A fresh bluish-green, balanced with deep blues, creates a look that is both vibrant and professional. Our purpose with this is more than just a design refresh; it’s a celebration of our growth and a reaffirmation of the principles that guide us every day.

Same values, a new visual feel

 

To bring our vision to life, we worked with Studio Platforme to craft a brand identity that is as meaningful as it is visually appealing. Our goal was to create an aesthetic that conveys professionalism, trust, and innovation while remaining approachable and most importantly: human.

The inspiration for the design came from a synthesis of the modern minimalist look with our new illustrations:

Minimalism mixed with innovation

Our new visuals mix geometric forms, clean lines, and cooler tones that represent precision, expertise, and innovation. Abstract shapes come together to create a sense of teamwork and connectedness—values that are central to our company culture. The futuristic elements in this design speak to our forward-thinking approach and commitment to using cutting-edge HR technologies, making AI and data-driven solutions an everyday part of our business lives, thereby making ourselves ready to solve the challenges not just today, but tomorrow.

Trust and humanity

Our second direction within our new brand identity focuses on a softer and more organic look, incorporating illustrative elements, natural shapes, and a warmer colour palette. This approach highlights the importance of trust, transparency, and community in everything we do. By introducing these elements into our brand identity, we aim to foster a sense of personal connection and also reflect the human side of our work.

The resulting blend of these two aesthetics creates a cohesive identity that strikes a balance between professionalism and warmth, innovation and approachability.

 

Let’s see our true colors

 

One of the most significant updates in our new branding is our renewed colour palette. The colour palette combines a fresh and modern feel with a sense of trust and sustainability. The main colour is a bright bluish-green. It’s paired with darker blues to create contrast and a professional balance. Together, these colours give a vibrant yet grounded look that fits within the environmental sector.

 

By adopting this cleaner palette, we also hope to convey clarity and focus, two qualities that are vital as we tackle the challenges of sustainability and growth in an ever-changing landscape.

I’m sure most of you have heard the story of how Edison tried more than 1000 different materials before selecting the right one for the filament for his light bulbs. We can surely make a promise that we won’t pick 1000 different brandings before committing to the final one, but the story is a great example of how commitment to excellence is at the core of every success. And that we can surely promise and firmly stand by.

 

As Meijer & Co has grown over the years, so too has our understanding of the world and our role within it. Our updated look reflects this maturity. It embodies a thoughtful, measured approach to business that balances ambition with responsibility. By creating a brand that feels sophisticated and confident, we aim to inspire trust in our ability to navigate complex challenges and lead with purpose.
